Your data is used exclusively to:
-    Manage access and ensure security (e.g., OTP verification, social login)
-    Analyze app usage and continuously improve our services
-    Send communications (only with your consent), reminders, or helpful updates

We only share your data when necessary and only with:
-    Trusted technology partners (e.g., Twilio, Google Analytics, Firebase)
-    Competent authorities, if legally required

 

5. Your rights
You always have full control over your data. You may:
-    Access, correct, or delete your personal information
-    Export your data or object to its processing
-    Withdraw consent at any time

 

6. Data retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated. Generally:
-    Contact and session data are stored until account deactivation or up to 12 months after last use
-    Anonymous usage data may be retained for up to 24 months
-    Profiling-related data will not be kept for more than 12 months

We apply technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data and ensure confidentiality and integrity.

Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

- “App”: refers to the Vote the Goat mobile application.

- “User”: any individual who downloads or uses the App.

 

2. Scope

Access to and use of the App are governed by these Terms.

 

3. License of Use

We grant the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App within the limits described herein.

 

4. Registration and Account

- The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

- Account sharing or transfer to third parties is strictly prohibited.

 

5. Payment Terms

Any subscriptions or in-app purchases are detailed in the relevant section and subject to Google Play and App Store refund policies.

 

6. Permitted Use and Prohibitions

- The App may not be used for unlawful or unauthorized activities.

- Reverse engineering of the software is not permitted.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is.” Play the Ground disclaims any implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

 

8. Changes and Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, notifying users via email or push notifications.

 

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from the use of the application Play the Ground, or related to it, shall be exclusively resolved through arbitration, in accordance with the Rules of the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce). The seat of arbitration shall be Milan, Italy.

Arbitration shall be conducted in Italian, unless otherwise agreed by the parties, allowing the founder and legal team to operate with full linguistic and procedural fluency, while maintaining publicly accessible documentation in English for international user

Declaration of Creative Transformation

I, Paolo Migliorini, as the founder and creator of the application Vote The Goat, hereby declare the following:

 

1. Image Origin

  • The facial images used within the app have been generated/modified using cartoon-style rendering software, based on publicly available sources or materials not subject to restrictive copyright.

  • These images do not faithfully represent real-life individuals, and present a significant degree of visual alteration such that they cannot be directly linked to the person depicted.

 

2. Transformative Elements

Each image has undergone substantial modifications, including but not limited to:

  • Alteration of the background.

  • Change of clothing (e.g., addition of a jacket not present in the original software output).

  • Color and stylistic reworking of facial features.

 

3. Intended Use

All visual elements are used exclusively for informational, narrative, and entertainment purposes.

There is no intention of direct commercial exploitation or monetization based on the identity of depicted individuals.

Usage aligns with the principles of journalistic reporting, information rights, and free creative expression as recognized under current legislation.

 

4. Fonts and Other Assets

The application uses fonts and graphic elements authorized by third-party providers. Explicit written permission has been obtained from the company that created the font used in the app’s logo.

 

5. Proactive Commitment

The undersigned commits to cooperating with any entity or rights holder seeking clarification, modification, or removal of content.

All such requests will be assessed in good faith, in accordance with copyright law and personal image rights.

 

6. Advertising

In addition, we confirm that no athlete names or images featured in the App are ever associated with sponsored content, advertising, or third-party branding. Ads are clearly separated from user-generated content and in no way imply endorsement.
